Christmas Music - New Music for Traditional Carols is a book of traditional sacred Christmas Carols with new very singable melodies composed by Colleen Muriel. Some of the melodies were first presented at a concert in 1997 (Vancouver, Canada) and since then have been sung by various church congretations (mostly in greater London, U.K.) In addition they are often used as solos during the Yuletide Season. While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks By Night was included in a Harmonic Generation Concert December 8, 2018 at First Baptist Church, Ottawa, Canada; and in 2018 and 2019 all the music in this book was featured at Christmas Carol Workshops in 2018 and 2019 in the U.K. The music in this book is approachable and fun to sing. So Enjoy.
