Chicago poet Nina Corwin’s unique version of the Salome story has inspired me to devise a quasi-middle-eastern mode to evoke Salome’s famous dance. It is in this seductive setting that Salome addresses John’s severed head. Salome’s complex motivations include looking for goodness, flirting with depravity, and macabre imaginings, as she dances for Herod, egged on by her mother Herodias.
La version unique de Chicago poète Nina Corwin de l'histoire de Salomé m'a inspiré pour concevoir un mode quasi-moyen-orientale pour évoquer la célèbre danse de Salomé. Il est dans ce cadre séduisant que Salomé aborde la tête coupée de John. Les motivations complexes de Salomé comprennent la recherche de la bonté, de flirter avec la dépravation et imaginings macabres, comme elle danse pour Hérode, poussé par sa mère Hérodiade.
