Synchronicities #1 is a series of solo pieces (piano, vibraphone, clarinet, cello and French Horn) written to be played by alone, as a duo or trio, or in any combination, SIMULTANEOUSLY. Musicians if possible should be arranged spatially, in different corners of the performance space surrounding the audience. The Inspiration for this piece comes from the textures of Morton Feldman and the musical circuses of John Cage. Each player has a separate piece written in proportional notation, and named after a color. Ruby - clarinet Silver - vibraphone Bronze - piano Black - cello (or Double Bass tuned in fifths) Jade - French horn
