Ashlike in the Cradle of the Wind is a 20 minute opera commissioned by Tapestry New Opera Works for the 2006 Tapestry Opera to Go production. Synopsis: Two men, one much younger than the other - meet in a bar. A poetic, elegiac text reveals their different attitudes towards sex and love in the shadow of AIDS.
