The verses of The Call rank as one of the greatest collections of sacred texts. The Call was published anonymously in 1924 as the first book of the Agni Yoa series. It was later thought to be the work of the Russian writer Helena Roerich. British painter and writer Benjamin Creme has stated recently in Tara Press that is is in fact the work Maitreya, the fifth and coming Buddha and World Teacher for the Aquarian Age. The Call is directed to the heart and relates it to the expanse of the 'Heart of Cosmos." The basic theme is the unity of the Brotherhood of Man i the Fatherhood of God. It makes its appeal directly to us with its message of sharing and brother hood andthe spiritual regeneration of humanity through truth and love.
